Lance Tormey hails from Yakima, Washington. He's dedicated his life to journalism. Lance covers hard news like gang shootings, wildfires, local and state elections, skiing news, outdoor activities and local government. Lance is a 1982 graduate of Eisenhower High School. After graduating from Seattle University in 1987, Tormey started his radio career in Moses Lake and moved to Yakima in 1990. He's married to his elementary school sweetheart and has a 25-year-old daughter who is an ICU nurse.
