Calling all young, up-and-coming soccer superstars! Seattle Sounders All-Star #9 is coming to Tri-Cities. Raul Ruidiaz is a Peruvian professional soccer player currently with the Sounders and the Peru National Team. Ruidiaz recently missed two games due to a muscle strain injury.

A local soccer league, Liga Deportiva De Futbol-Tri-Cities is hosting the event at Kamiakin High School (600 North Arthur Street, in Kennewick) on Sunday, August 21st. According to Carlos Jimenez, with Liga Deportiva De Futbol Tri-Cities, doors will open at 9 am and kids of all ages are invited to the event.

Is there a cost?

Yes. The registration fee is $50.

What's included with the registration?

Raul Ruidiaz will host a 60-90 minute soccer training session, demonstrating moves and plays. All will be encouraged to kick the ball around with 'The Flea'. Everyone participating will receive a signed photograph of Raul.

Liga DePortiva De Futbol Tri-Cities is an adult amateur soccer league that formed in 2019 with 12 teams. Today the league is made up of 25 teams. Jimenez says, "Matches are played mostly in Pasco at the soccer fields at Road 48 and Court Street."
